Is there a rapture?

IS THERE A RAPTURE? Will you really be "raptured" in a twinkling of an eye?

First of all, the word "Rapture" is not even to be found in the Bible; Remember, the Lord's return will not be secretive or silent. Revelation 1:7 states that, "every eye shall see him', 1 Thessalonians 4:16, says that His coming will be heralded with, "a shout'. with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God". So how come "everyone in the evangelical church" beLIEves they are going to be 'raptured"?

John Nelson Darby first proposed the concept of a pre-tribulation "rapture" in 1827. John Darby's rapture view was accepted among many other Plymouth Brethren in England. Darby and other prominent Brethren were part of the Brethren Movement which impacted American Christianity, primarily through their writings and conferences which . led to an increasing acceptance of the pre-tribulation rapture especially among Presbyterian, Baptist and Congregational members. Popular books also contributed to acceptance of the pre-tribulation rapture, including Jesus is Coming by the evangelist William Eugene Blackstone which was published in 1878 and which sold more than 1.3 million copies, and the Scofield Reference Bible, published in 1909 and 1919 and revised in 1967. The rise in belief in the "Pre-Tribulation rapture" is often attributed to a 15-year old Scottish-Irish girl named Margaret McDonald (a follower of Edward Irving), who in 1830 had a vision of the end times which describes a post-tribulation view of the "Rapture" that was first published in 1840. It was published again in 1861 but two important sentences demonstrating post-tribulation were removed concerning the timing of the Rapture. The two removed sentences were, "This is the fiery trial which is to try us. - It will be for the purging and purifying of the real members of the body of Jesus" and "The trial of the Church is from Antichrist. It is by being filled with the Spirit that we shall be kept". Too bad these two sentences were removed.

The Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox churches, the Anglican Communion, as well as most Protestant Calvanist denominations have no tradition of a preliminary return of Christ and reject the rapture doctrine, in part because they cannot find any specific reference to it in the Bible and/or among any of the early Church fathers. Hebrews 9:27 clearly states: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die (not to be raptured) , but after this the judgment."

The first known theological use of the word "rapture" in print occurs with the Scofield Reference Bible of 1909.

Who is the Author of Confusion and Deception? Surely not G-d!

In the beginning, G-d created man. Then the old serpent (Devil) deceives Woman and Man into rebelling against G-d in Eden. When Jesus came to this earth, He took on human flesh to save man. What did the devil do then? First, the devil personally tempted Jesus - when that failed the devil once again deceives men - who then plot, mock, attack and finally crucify the loving G-d that came to save them. What men killed Jesus - the savages, the criminals, the sinners, the unbelievers or the atheists? No, they were all religious men, the supposed religious leaders of Israel.

The old serpent has confused and deceived man from the beginning and, will always confuse any man who does not hear G-d. See Matthew 23 to see Jesus' warnings to the scribes and Pharisees who want to teach what they think is "truth" to G-d's people. In John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (not religion)."

The world finally became so wicked after Adam and Eve fell - that G-d had to destroy every living man with a flood, save for Noah and the seven in the ark. Only Noah heard G-d - because of this - G-d saved only righteous Noah and his family. After the flood, "… God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth" (Genesis 9:1). (Jesus clearly said: "...as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.") Remember Noah and the seven were not "raptured" or taken out of this world - only the evil men who refused to hear G-d were removed. Noah was kept safe here on earth - in G-d's ark.

Mankind is given another fresh start with another righteous man who heard G-d, but, even Abraham had to be called by G-d's voice out of Ur of the Chaldees, which was part of old Babylonia. The patron moon god who ruled Ur, was named Sin. That's right, S-I-N. Abraham had to be called out of Babylon (confusion) which is sin. In 1 Samuel 15:23 we read: "For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king."

Thousands of years ago G-d began His Church on earth by first personally calling Abraham out of Babylon. In the ancient tongue Babylon means "gate of G-d". In the Bible, Babel, means confusion. Babylon is a confused gate of G-d. In the Hebrew Bible, "Babylon" appears as בָּבֶל (Babel), interpreted to mean "confusion" from the verb בלבל bilbél, "to confuse". In Revelation 18: 1-4 there is a clear call from G-d that ends with a call for all the true believers to come out of Babylon (confusion/religion). Jesus has clearly warned us: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." To me the real "rapture" is for the true believers to come out of religious Babylon the same way that G-d made sure that His people left Sodom and Gomorrah before He destroyed that evil city.

In 1 Peter 4:17 - we read: "For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of G-d?" Jesus said He would separate the sheep from the goats (both are clean animals) - In John 10:27 Jesus clearly said His sheep hear Him - the goats do not hear Him or at least they do not follow Jesus. Jesus also said half the virgins (not whores) would not make it because they did not have enough (Holy Spirit/Christ) oil for their lamps. When we all hear G-d - there will not be any more confusion - for G-d is not the author of confusion - man/devil is. Babylon (religion) means "confusion/mixture". All believers should all only want to learn directly from G-d and not from any man or woman.

In 1 John 2:27 we clearly see one thing: "But the anointing (Christ) which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." .In John 6:63 Jesus clearly says: "It is the spirit (Christ) that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life." In Romans 10:17 we see: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing (not reading or saying) by the word of God."

In Matthew 23:15 we read what Jesus said: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." Obviously, Jesus had a hard time dealing with or respecting or teaching the various religious types - that is why He stayed with the sinners. I now understand even more clearly why Jesus avoided religious types. If you do not agree with these religious types - rather than with G-d's truth - the religious types will always attack you. It was the religious types that first disagreed, then lied, then attacked, then plotted, then scourged and finally crucified Jesus!

G-d promises he will judge us by every idle word that we speak. Even Jesus made it very clear that even He only said what He heard His Father say. A servant is not and should not be above his Master.

If your mind is already made up about "flying away" in the "rapture" - you are blindly following a man-made lie that I know is the great deception. In my lifetime - 6 million of G-d's chosen people were exterminated for following G-d and they were not "raptured" - do you really think your "rapture" group is any more "special" in G-d's eyes than His own chosen people? What about the scripture that states: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die (not be raptured), but after this the judgment."

We read what Jesus clearly said to His Father in John 17:15: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." I believe that this statement alone makes the "rapture" a "prophetic" teaching of man and not of G-d. In the entire History of the world - no group of people are known to have been "raptured". In Ecclesiastes 1: 9 we read: "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

Deception has always been a problem for man (and woman) ever since the serpent first deceived Eve and Adam in the garden. All evil comes forth from the heart and proceeds out of the mouth. Then the LORD G-d said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me (with his words) , and I ate" (Genesis 3:13). Deception has continued to plague mankind from the beginning. Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips. The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception. Man is easily deceived by the serpent because he has a carnal, selfish mind. http://www.manyantichrists.com

Jesus, when responding to the disciples question about His Second Coming and the End of the Age, warned his followers repeatedly about the coming deception. He indicated that deception would be a serious problem in the last days and that many people would fall. So great would be the deception that He warned us about it ahead of time. "For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ (the anointing), ' and will deceive many. … and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people (Matthew 24:5, 11). For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect-(who hear G-d) - if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time." (Matthew 24:24-25).

In Revelation, John again warns us about the Great Deception that would come. "Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth ."(Revelation 13:11-14). Little one, there are many anointed men in the "rapture" group that can and do perform great signs, miracles and healings but, they are not of G-d! They constantly prove this when they draw men to themselves and not to G-d! In Matthew 7: 21 -23 we clearly read: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew (John 10:27) you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS."

Don't let anyone (man) deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness (see above) is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called G-d or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in G-d's temple, proclaiming himself to be G-d. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). We are to hear and to follow G-d not man!

Deception is ever present and the last days have come and many people are truly deceived. The really sad thing about Deception: Those who are deceived don’t know it - they beLIEve they have the truth!

Jesus said, "If you hold to my (and not man's) teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32). You have no need of any man to teach you because the anointing (Christ) will teach you all things, Jesus said in John 14:24, "...The word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me."

In Matthew 23: 37 we hear hear Jesus exclaim: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!"

In Revelation 18:4 G-d cries out again: "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (the whore Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Offerings were how Israel had it's sins forgiven. "Tithe" was simply the amount G-d asked for, as a sin offering. Jesus and all his disciples said Jesus was the offering for our sins... Heb 10:10 "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." Jesus freely offered His blood sacrifice that was better than he blood of all the bulls and goats.. In Hebrews 9: 13-14 we see: "For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to G-d, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living G-d?" Open your eyes and ears little ones - you can be saved, you can have your sins cleansed, forgiven completely, simply by faith in Jesus' blood offering for free!. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of G-d: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which G-d hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:8-10). The church in the new testament did not pay tithes and make offerings, because this would have contradicted what Jesus had died for - the free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus.
Jesus told us: "Freely you have received, freely give!" The only New Testament collection that I know of was when Paul arrived in Jerusalem with a collection of money for the congregation there. No one took up collections for their ministry. Jesus promised that when He sent His ministry they would have no lack.

A whore sells her services - and the great whore in Revelation who has "upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" is full of wealth! When were the "churches" told to ignore the Gospels and Jesus free sacrifice and teachings and to again take up any tithes and offerings for themselves? Come out of the whore Babylon and out of all of her harlot daughters!

Let me make this very plain. Even if you do not charge for preaching or teaching - you can read the Bible from one end to the other, have it all memorized in your head, and tell the whole world all about it, untill you are blue in the face; but without the Holy Spirit, and if G-d did not specifically tell you to speak -- your carnal words are death!

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (the anointing), who is the image of G-d, should shine unto them” (II Corinthians 4:3-4) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew (John 10:27) you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS." Please read in Matthew 24 the end time events that Jesus gives and notice the time-order indicators e.g., "then", "not yet", "therefore when" and "immediately after". These time-ordering indicators makes it easy to see the chain of events that will happen. This discussion began by His disciples asking three questions "When will these things happen? What will be the sign of your coming? What will be the sign of the end of the age? "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs (annointings) , and false prophets (profits), and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.... Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other...... Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken (In Jeremiah 51 - G-d promised that He would destroy ancient Babylon, by making them drunken!); The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Sober up!

In Psalm 23 we hear the Psalmist cry out: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." As David walked through the tribulation that faced him - so shall we - David was not "raptured" and neither will we be "raptured" - we all must endure and walk through the tribulation with G-d until the end in order to be saved!

In Matthew 10:22 Jesus promised His Apostles: "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end (not is "raptured" out before) shall be saved. When Jesus sent two Angels back to disperse the crowd in Act 1:1: "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." This should warn us we are not to foolishly stand around gazing up into heaven but to endure until the very end!.

Want to be in the clouds with Jesus? In Hebrews 1-3 we read: "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus (who also was not "raptured out") the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Run then with patience and do not stop until the end of the race! Read Matthew 10:32-39; Luke 14:26,27,33; John 21:15-19 to see what weights you must set aside in order to run this race.

Always remember to let G-d be true though every man is a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.”
