Is there eternal fire awaiting you?

"For our G-d is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:29) - "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch." (Malachi 4:1) "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelation 29:11-15)

Do you believe what the Bible tells you about the fiery fate of the wicked? If you say, "I believe in the Bible," then you are faced with the question of "which Bible?" The fighting fundamentalists have long taught "The Doctrine of Biblical Inerrancy". This infallable doctrine of the KJV of the Holy Bible has caused many denominational leaders to tell outright lies to maintain their position. They take plain facts and hide them from their followers. Because they have locked themselves into the teaching that the King James Version of the Bible is "the inerrant" translation (Word of G-d) of the "so-called" original texts, they have locked themselves into a position where lying, distorting, and name calling are the only options left for them (Babylon) to maintain their followers. They say the 66 books of the present KJV are inerrant, but they don't tell you this version lacks 14 entire books which were in the original King James of 1611. They don't tell you the KJV of the Bible has been changed many times in the last 350 years and there have been thousands of corrections! They don't tell you the KJV was never authorized by anyone. They don't tell you the original KJV had a calendar of annual holy days which all believers were to follow such as: Purification of the virgin Mary, annunciation of our Lady, Innocents day, etc.. They don't tell you the Greek text used by the King James translators produced by Erasmus, a Roman Catholic humanist monk, did not have manuscripts that contained all 27 books of the New Testament, so he borrowed out of the Latin Catholic Vulgate! No, they can't tell you these things because that would be the end of one of the lies which have kept them in buSINess. Rather than directing "their" believers directly to hearing from the Lord Jesus (John 10:27) Christ (1 John 2:27) they continue to say: "let us men continue to teach you."

For the record, the KJV has the most numbers of the word "hell" in the Old Testament. The KJV translated the Hebrew word "Sheol" as "grave" 31 times, "hell" 31 times, and "pit" 3 times. Almost without exception, all the other leading Protestant Bibles didn't do what the King Jame's translators did, that is, take the Hebrew word "Sheol" where everyone went, according to the Old Testament teachings, and divide it into "hell," a place for the unrighteous, and "grave" or "pit," presumably the place for the righteous. They translated this word according to their own theology, and not according to the Hebrew. Most of the other translations did not have the word "hell" in any part of the Old Testament. The ones that did, have mentioned it only a handfull of times, always from the Hebrew word "Sheol" which they translated the vast majority of times "grave, underworld, etc.." Those translations that use the word "hell" are so inconsistent with it, that it is impossible to determine which Scriptures clearly refers to "hell" and which refers to "grave." Where one translation had "hell," another had "grave." In other words, those other translations that tried to put "hell" into the Old Testament couldn't agree with each other as to which verses spoke of "hell" and which spoke of the "grave." But, to be honest dear one, does it really matter which translation of a word rendered "hell" is correct? In the end hell is only temporary anyway - because dear one, in the end, death, hades and everyone not written in the book of life are all thrown into the eternal lake of fire! Where do you want to spend eternity?

Although there are many extensive descriptions of heaven in the Bible, there are no really accurate descriptions of hell. Most of the attempts to descripe hell merely describe the fate of its inhabitants. The denominational churches normally do not teach or preach about Hell because it "does not fill the pews" or "tickle the ears"! But, the Lord Jesus Christ and His Apostles had no such problem and in Matthew 10:14-15 we read: "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town." There are denominational churches and teachers who out right deny the existence of eternal punishment all together. Others have said, "G-d will not punish anyone for eternity, for this goes against the loving character of G-d”. Some have even claimed that you go to purgatory after you die to be purified of your sins if you are not purified of your sins before you die. Once you have undergone sufficient suffering in purgatory you will be made worthy of being with G-d. There are even some that believe that a sinner will be simply destroyed as opposed to being "eternally" punished. While even others think that we just pass into the spirit world with no accountability for how we lived our life while alive. There are those who have claimed to have died and went to hell in near death experiences and came back with testimonies of incredible terror and horror. Could these experiences substantiate the biblical teaching of eternal punishment? Eternal punishment as a biblical teaching rarely gets mentioned within the denominational churches if at all, it is typically neatly tucked away within a sermon message but not fully preached or taught.

So, What is hell like?

The most common description of hell is that of fire. Here are a few descriptions: fire and brimstone, lake of fire which burns with brimstone, black darkness, eternal punishment, unquenchable fire, flames of fire, firey oven, furnace of fire, judgement by fire, burning wind, fiery hell, eternal fire, and pit of darkness. What is happening to the occupants? Many bad things, including: smoke of their torment, death, destruction, their worm does not die, tormented, weeping and gnashing of teeth and no rest day or night.

Eternal Torment - Matthew 8:29, 13:20, 18:8, 25:41, 46, Mark 9:48, Luke 16:23-24, 28, Hebrews 6:1-2, 2 Peter 2:9, Jude 1:7, Revelation 14:11 and

Eternal Destruction - Matthew 7:13, John 5:24, John 8:51, Romans 6:21, 23, 9:22, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Philippians 3:18-19, 2 Thessalonians 1:9, James 1:15, 1 John 3:14, 2 Peter 3:7, 3:16, Revelation 2:11, 114:10, 8:8-9,19:20, 20:6, 10, 14-15, 21:8.

Why does there need to be a hell?

Hell was designed originally for Satan and his demons (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10) but, Hell will also punish the sin of those who reject Christ (Matthew 13:41,50; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8). When we were created G-d made all us to be eternal beings - everyone will exist eternally either in heaven or hell (Daniel 12:2,3; Matthew 25:46; John 5:28; Revelation 20:14,15). "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) . Since G-d is absolutely holy, He cannot be in the direct presence of sinful creatures. Therefore, all who are sinful must be separated from G-d and cannot be allowed to enter into His home (heaven). Hell is the place where these people must go, away from the presence of G-d. I also believe those true Christians who have been persecuted by denominational and ungodly people here also need to be protected from those who would harm them eternally in Heaven! In Ezekiel 33:11 we read: "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord G-D, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? (See also Isaiah 51:11; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Luke 15:11-32)

Is Satan Alive and Still Deceiving the Woman (Revelations 17 and 18)?
Satan is delighted when people do not believe in him or think they are so spirit filled they can not be possessed or even influenced by Satan or his demons. Satan has convinced many people he only appears as an ugly, red, bat-winged creature that is part-man and part-beast, having split hooves and a long, pointed tail, or carrying a pitchfork and stoking the fires of hell. Nothing could be further from the truth. Such concepts come from Greek mythology. No such nonsense can be found anywhere in Scripture. The Bible describes Satan as a brilliant, highly attractive angel with an uncanny ability to communicate. He is also well acquainted with Scripture (Matthew 4:5, 6). The devil is a self-proclaimed enemy of G-d whose aim is to defame His character and capture His kingdom. Satan also despises you and your loved ones and has plans to destroy you. You need to be wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove, filled with the Holy Spirit, trusting only in Jesus Christ, and praying earnestly for the Lord's guidance. Many people expect Satan to openly appear as God's enemy in the end time, but this is not so. Satan is indeed G-d's bitterest enemy, but his approach will be to feign righteousness (Matthew 24:24). He can appear as a glorious, angelic being (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) and will seek the worship of people (Revelation 13:12) and will fill the great whore Babylon (confusion) and her harlot daughters with demons.. Scripture is clear that his godly front will be so convincing that "all the world" will wonder after the beast (Revelation 13:3). Talk about a tragedy! Satan will be so effective in posing as Christ that virtually the entire world will follow him, thinking all the time that they are following Jesus. Will you be deceived? Are you currently in Babylon? Or are you truly in Jesus?

Who will go to hell?

In Romans 9:13-33 we read: "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with G-d? G-d forbid. For He saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of G-d that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against G-d? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if G-d, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living G-d. Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, (only) a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

Everyone (unless they are perfect) who rejects the salvation of Jesus Christ cannot enter into the presence of the Holy G-d, and so must be separated from Him eternally. The Bible gives several lists of people who will not be in heaven. A partial list of the activities that keep people out of heaven is: idolatry, adultery, prostitution (Revelation 17 & 18), drunkeness, greed, theft, swindling, impurity, witchcraft, fits of rage, jealousy, discord, dissensions, factions, envy, orgies, unbelief, lying, cowardice, sorcery, sexual immorality, homosexuality, slander, hatred, selfish ambition, abominations and murder. The list is fairly extensive and includes some things that all of us have done. At the end of the world, we will all appear before the great white throne of G-d who will go through the "books" to see if we have committed any of these evil deeds. In addition, our names will be checked to see if they are written in the Lamb's book of life. Anyone guilty of any of these sins - whose name is not found in the Lamb's book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire along with death and hell. This is the second death. If you have committed any of these violations (not just homosexuality or abortion) you should expect to thrown into the lake of fire. As with any transgression of any law, we are convicted on the basis of our guilt with regard to any particular crime. The good things that we have done do not change or impact the charge(s) for which we will stand trial. Only those who have been made righteous by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (John 3:16, 36, etc.) will escape hell (by whatever name you want to call it) and then escape the eternal Lake of Fire.

Do Not Be A Foolish Virgin (Are you really saved?)

Matthew 25:1-13 warns us: "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise,
'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, And those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. (Genesis 7:16) Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' (John 10:27) Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. See also Matthew 7:21-23.

Biblical Terms Describing Where the Dead Go -

Sheol - a Hebrew term simply describing “the grave” or “death” – Does not refer to “hell” specifically
Hades - A Greek term that usually refers to hell – a place of torment (Luke 10:15; 16:23, etc.)
Gehenna - A Greek term (borrowed from a literal burning dump near Jerusalem) that always refers to hell – a place of torment (Matthew 5:30; 23:33)
“Lake of fire”- the final abode of unbelievers after they are resurrected (Revelation 20:14,15)
“Abraham’s bosom” - (Luke 16:22) a place of eternal comfort
“Paradise” - (Luke 23:43) a place of eternal comfort
“With the Lord” - a key phrase describes where church age believers are after death (Philippians 1:23; 1 Thessalonians 4:17; 2 Corinthians 5:8)

What is Hell? The definition given in Webster's Unabridged Dictionary says: the place or state of punishment of the wicked after death; the abode of evil and condemned spirits; Gehenna or Tartarus. Any place or state of torment or misery. The abode of the dead; Sheol or Hades.
The New Unger's Bible Dictionary says: A term that in common usage designates the place of future punishment for the wicked. Other meanings in many instances are expressed by this term, which must be recognized to prevent mistakes and confusion, In some cases it refers to the grave, in others to the place of disembodied spirits without any necessary implication as to their happiness or unhappiness. This fact, however, does not affect the correctness of the belief indicated by the common use of the term, a belief supported by many passages of Scripture. Scriptures rendered "Hell" in English, are three in number. The three words commonly used are Sheol, Hades, and Gehenna.

Sheol means "the place of the dead or departed souls" and is used to reference both the righteous and the wicked. Psalm 16:9-11 says, "Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Daniel 12:2 speaks of the wicked: "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt." Prior to Christ, everyone went to SHEOL. No one went directly to heaven except Elijah and Enoch

Hades is used in the New Testament and is a term much like the Old Testament word Sheol. Hades refers to the underworld - the state between death and the resurrection. Matthew 16:18 says, "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

Gehenna is a place where Jewish apostasy was celebrated. Dead bodies were thrown into this valley and burned. The name of this valley became a term used for a place for lost souls. Most often, Gehenna is translated as hell or eternal hell. One place where it is used is Matthew 5:22: “…Thou fool, shall be in danger of GEHENNA fire.” The confusion comes because GEHENNA is also translated “hell” in the King James Bible. GEHENNA IS NOT SHEOL but the FINAL JUDGMENT, which is often called the Second Death! (Revelation 21:14-15

Hell - The word “hell” is used 54 times in the Bible. It is translated from several different words with various meanings: In the Old Testament: 31 times from the Hebrew “Sheol,” which means “the grave”. In the New Testament: 10 times from the Greek “Hades,” which means “the grave” - 12 times from the Greek “Gehenna,” which means “a place of burning” and 1 time from the Greek “Tartarus,” which means “a place of darkness”.

Damnation - The word damnation is mentioned 11 times - Matthew 23:14 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrite! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Matthew 23:33 - Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Mark 3:29 - But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Mark 12:40 - Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. Luke 20:47 - Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation. John 5:29 - And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. Romans 3:8 - And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. Romans 13:2 - Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 1 Corinthians 11:29 - For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 1 Timothy 5:12 - Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. 2 Peter 2:3 - And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Damned - The word damned is mentioend 3 times The word damned is only used three times in all of Scripture (Mark 16:14; Roms. 14:23; 2 Thess. 2:12); and used for the unregenerate to everlasting perdition. The word damned and damnation occur 14 times in the King James Bible. Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Romans 14:23 - And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. 2 Thessalonians 2:12 - That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The words Damnation and damned - words are completey missing from such modern versions as the RSV, ESV, NKJV, NIV, NASB, ISV.

In the New Testament there are two Greek words that the King James Version often translated as "hell"—hades and gehenna. Hades is used eleven times, and gehenna twelve times. The term "hades" comes from Greek mythology. It was the world of the dead and Hades was the God of the underworld (Pluto was the Roman equivalent). Most of the times the word is used in the New Testament it can be translated as "the grave." (Matt 11:23; Lk 10:15; Acts 2:27, 31 where it is a translation of an Old Testament passage using "sheol") In 1 Cor 15:55 the KJV actually translates it as "grave": "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" If this is the common meaning, then that may give a different slant on Matt 16:18, "upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." That would make it read, "the gates of the grave will not prevail." Carrying through with that idea are the four times in Revelation where the word is used (1:18, 6:8, 20:13, 14), where it is always used with the word "death." Hades is cast, with death, into the lake of fire (Rev 20:14), so is not equivalent to the final punishment. There is one other instance of the word that I will cover later. The term "hell" in the New Testament is generally from the word "gehenna", which is a variation on the Valley of the Sons of Hinnom. This was a valley outside the walls of Jerusalem where, in the years shortly before the Babylonian captivity, some people burned their children to "Molech", the King of the Gods. It later became a city dump, and fires were constantly breaking out there. In the New Testament it is often associated with fire. (Matt 5:22; Matt 18:9; Mk 9: 43, 45, 47; Jas 3:6) It is spoken of as a place of destruction of the body and soul (Matt 5: 29, 30; Matt 10:28; Matt 18:9; Matt 23:15, 33; Mk 9:43, 45, 47; Lk 12:5). Although the word is not specifically used in Revelation, it may be that it could be equated with the lake that burns with fire. The other instance of the word "hades" is Luke 16:23, in the story of the rich man and Lazarus. Here it is a place of torment, and the only time it is mentioned in connection with fire. It is contrasted with "Abraham's bosom," where Lazarus was taken. It is clearly distinct from the pleasant place of the dead. It is pictured as a place of the dead while there are still others on Earth—therefore before the final judgement. Because of this and the passage in Rev 20:14 it has been theorized (only a theory, mind you) that when a man dies he goes either to hades (in anticipation of eternal punishment) or to "Abraham's bosom".

In Luke 16:19-31 we read: "There was a certain (this was not a parable) rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And (immediately he was) in hell, [Greek Hades] he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. (31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."

When I asked the Lord to show me what it was like in Sheol/Hades - He had me walk outside at night where I could see into my home where everyone was having fun. I could only watch wishing I too was inside. But everyone inside was unaware of my "suffering". Between UPPER and LOWER Sheol/Hades, there was a “great gulf”. The righteous dead went to the upper compartment where they rested in Abraham's bosom (Psalm 23). The unrighteous dead went to the LOWER COMPARTMENT of Sheol/Hades and were tormented waiting to be thrown into the eternal Lake of Fire. I remember my Mother telling me: "Just wait until your father gets home!" What torment knowing that something worse is about to happen to you - knowing that it did not have to happen to you and seeing others having a good time!

The Consciousness of Eternal Punishment


In Revelation 20:10 it is said that those who find themselves in the lake of fire is said to be in torment[basanizo /bas·an·id·zo/] to vex with grievous pains (of body or mind).
The same form of the word is used in Luke 16:23 and verse 24 where the Rich man said, "...for I am in agony in his flame" while in Hades. Hades refers to the abode of the unsaved dead prior to the great white throne judgment (Rev. 20:11-15) in which those in Hades will be thrown in the Lake of fire. His agony was so great he wanted to go warn his brothers not to "...come to this place of torment". (Luke 16:28).
In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus told the story of the rich man and Lazarus, as the story unfolds it becomes apparent that both men are fully conscious of their state and surroundings. Notice the following dialogue between the two.
The rich man died and was buried, but after death, he had eyes to see, fingers to feel, ears to hear, lips to speak, a tongue to taste, a soul to live forever in Hell
The rich man requested mercy - (Luke 16:24a,"...“And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me,")
The rich man sought relief from his agony - (Luke 16:24b,"...send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue)
The rich man had a memory - (Luke 16:25 “But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony.
The rich man had unfulfilled desires - Luke 16:27-28 - “And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ But Abraham *said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ “But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ “But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if (when Jesus) someone rises from the dead (Ephesians 4:9).’

Revelation 20:13-15 (KJV) "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell (temporary) were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast (forever) into the lake of fire."

Let us look at some scriptures that mention "perish": The Greek word for perish according to the Strongs Concordance, means to destroy fully, die or mar.

2 Peter 2:12
But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
1 Corinthians 15:54
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory.
Luke 13:3
I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
John 10:28
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
Romans 2:12
All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 15:50
I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
2 Corinthians 4:3
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
2 Thessalonians 2:10
and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
1 Peter 1:23
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
*John 3:16
For G-d so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

DESTRUCTION : The Greek word for 'Destruction' according to the Strongs Concordance, can mean the following: Perdition, waste, to die, destroying, utter destruction of vessels, ruin.

1 Corinthians 5:5
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Romans 9 22
What if G-d, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction?
Matthew 7:13
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
Philippians 3:19
Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
He will punish those who do not know G-d and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power
2 Peter 3:7
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

Revelation 18:4-5 - "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities'"

Galatians 5:14 - "For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Ephesians 4:4- 32 -There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
